Production Mechanic apprenticeship
As an apprentice in the production engineering department, you will learn how to operate our plant and machinery professionally, monitor processes and maintain the systems. You will also be called upon in the event of machinery malfunctions and during your training you will be shown how to remedy these problems. In addition, experienced colleagues will teach you how to ensure the quality of the produced goods and how to analyse a sample.

Training content
- Set-up, control, servicing, monitoring and maintenance of our production machines and production facilities
- Monitoring of production processes and process workflows
- Quality assurance during production
- Maintenance and repair of ultra-modern systems
- Interaction with modern computer systems
In addition to practical training, we attach great importance to a good vocational education. Our trainees therefore attend vocational colleges in Steinfurt, Rheine and Ibbenbüren. Since 2018, there has also been the option of attending the newly founded Textile Academy in Mönchengladbach. This vocational college, which is specially geared to the textile professions, offers state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality learning through close cooperation with the university. Naturally, we cover the travel costs and accommodation in Mönchengladbach.
